Samuels and colleagues, 2022: combined radiofrequency and HIFEM trial
A randomized sham-controlled study assessed abdominal tissue thickness using ultrasound.
Limits: Local thickness measurements are not whole-body fat loss or strength outcomes. Follow-up attrition limits the longer-term findings, and the study does not verify Whitehaven’s equipment.
